All hardware is grade 8 (industrial strength) and the undercarriage is one solid piece of powder coated, CNC-pressed and rolled steel. All aluminum is hard anodized in black, to avoid aluminum dust. Hard black plastic is used where aluminum would rub wood to eliminate the common dust staining. U.S. made piano wire springs with corrosion resistant nickel plating.
